HARROGATE NEWBORN BABY PHOTOGRAPHER
All my newborn baby photo shoots take place in the comfort of your own home, so that you feel relaxed and have everything that you need. Newborns are unpredictable so please don't worry if your baby needs a feed, a nappy change or maybe just a mummy cuddle - I like to make my sessions relaxed and informal.
My style is very natural. I focus on soaking up the love and emotion of having a new baby in the house and taking lots of candid photos of your family whether that be just Mum, Dad and baby or it includes siblings too. I’ll also make sure to get lots of photos of your new little arrival too - their tiny little toes, gorgeous little face and their precious yawns - everything they grow out of far too quickly. My aim is to capture so many loved up moments that you’ll treasure for years to come.

Book a ‘Highlights Video’ with your Newborn Photo Shoot and I will take video footage alongside photos and create a short story-telling video alongside your photos.

+ How do we book?
Please go through my contact form and include your due date and I'll be back in touch within 2-3 days. I will pencil in a date in my diary for your shoot but this can change if baby makes an early or late appearance so please don't worry!
+ Where do you travel?
I am based on the outskirts of Harrogate and cover the surrounding areas such as Knaresborough, Ripon, Wetherby, York, North Leeds, Otley and Ilkley.
+ What are the sessions like?
SUPER relaxed. Think of it as having a friend come to visit as it's very informal. I will guide you through lots of natural moments with your new baby and get lots of precious keepsake photos. We will follow your newborns lead and if we need to take 5 minutes to feed, change or just have a chill out - there's plenty of time for it!
+ We have an older child. Can they be involved too?
Absolutely! My newborn shoots are for the whole family so we will get lots of cute shots of your children together too. I've got lots of experienece working with children as well as having my own and pride myself in getting the best from them in photos and making them feel comfortable in front of me.
+ What about my dog, can they get involved?
Of course! I love dogs and there are ways to safely incorporate your furry children in to the photos too. You can find lots of exmaples of this on my website!
+ How long have you been photographing newborns at home?
I've been doing in-home newborn shoots now for over 10 years!
+ Do you require a deposit?
Yes. To formally book and pencil a date in my diary, I require a 50% retainer fee and a signed copy of my contract. The final payment is due the day before your shoot.
+ How do we receive the photos?
The photos are all put onto a private online gallery. If you purchase the package with all the photos then you will get a download PIN and can download the photos as many times as you wish. If you chose the '20 image' package, you can choose your photos from the gallery and I'll send you over a link to download them.
+ What if our baby doesn't play ball?
I have been doing these shoots for over a decade and have so much experience in creating a calm, relaxing sessioin. For the majority of the shoot you'll likely be cuddling your little one so they'll likely be happy in your arms. We can always stop for a milk break or a nappy change if they need one. It also doesn't matter if your baby is sleeping or awake for the photos as they're all beautiful!
